About Me
This is my story
My name is Elizabeth Ireland and I was born in the year 2001. I have been pet sitting and babysitting as long as I can remember. From the minute I was old enough to know responsibility I started my own business. When I was eight years old I started pet sitting my neighbor's dogs. As my name got out, my business grew. One of my mom's friends saw that I was doing well and offed me a job as a mother's helper. The job was tough for an eight year old but it didn't take long to get the hang of it.
When I turned ten, me and my family moved overseas to the United Arab Emirates. There I continued to babysit and petsit. In Abu Dhabi, I also started diving with my dad. Within a few months, I grew from PADI Open Water Diver to Advanced Open Water Diver. That's when I decided to become a PADI Rescue diver. Not many people choose to become a Rescue Diver and it's extremely rare for children to do so. For this certification, you must become "CPR Certified", "An Emergency First Responder", and take the "PADI Rescue Diver Course". These courses go much further than "The American Red Cross Babysitting course" that most people take. Not only do you learn common minor emergencies and practice them in a real life scenario, but you do the same with major emergencies as well.
With lots of hard work I passed the course and became a PADI Rescue Diver and later reached the highest certification of PADI Master Diver. This represents me because it shows that I am medically prepared and has what it takes to be responsible, hard working and mature.
When I turned 13 I was homeschooled whilst we traveled the world for a year. We lived in many different countries for about two months each. We then made our way back to America where I'm now living in Kennett Square, PA and going to High School. I have opened up my business to a much greater scale with more jobs at a low price.
